Community Rights Worker vacancy at CEMAP

Coventry Ethnic Minority Action Partnership (CEMAP) is recruiting for a Community Rights Worker

The role of the worker is to plan and deliver general advice workshops to raise awareness and understanding of the rights of BME and New Communities in the City.  The workshops will offer information about basic rights around welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment.  This will include making active referrals and signposting to appropriate advice services.  The role will also involve recruiting and linking participants to volunteering opportunities around advice in the city.
