Women and the Cuts: A toolkit for campaigners

Coventry Trades Council are organising a public meeting on Women and the Cuts

Thursday 17th May 8pm, Koco, Spon End, Coventry  CV1 3JQ

Mary-Ann Stephenson will be speaking from Coventry Women’s Voices .

In April 2011 Coventry Women’s Voices, in partnership with the Centre for Human Rights in Practice at the University of Warwick, published Unravelling Equality: a human rights and equality impact assessment of the spending cuts on women in Coventry.

The TUC and Coventry Women’s Voices have drawn on the work done in Coventry to produce a toolkit for unions and local groups wanting to do a human rights and equality impact assessments in their own areas.
