Coventry Peace Festival

Positive Images Festival is delighted to be associated with Coventry Peace Festival. To mark Peace Festival 2012, we are arranging a competition at which you can showcase your musical/dance talent.

We invite local songwriters, musicians and dancers to enter a new piece of work celebrating Coventry and its commitment to Peace and Reconciliation.  You can compose  music or a song or perform a dance piece to celebrate Peace. There will be four prizes  – a winner and a runner up in each category.

All those interested in participating are invited to showcase their item at a celebratory event on at St. Peter’s Centre on Saturday 10th November 2012 from 1.00 to 4.00pm.

The item should not be any longer than 10 minutes. Participants are requested to bring their own equipment but a PA system will be provided.

The winning song and dance pieces will  become the official  music and dance events at future Positive Images Festivals.

We welcome entries from all age groups and cultures.
