An Everyday Occurrence: women and street harassment

To mark International Women’s Day Coventry Women’s Voices and Coventry University are launching their report on public spaces and gender.  The report will provide a daily picture of  women’s experiences of street harassment in  Coventry,based on the results of over 190 survey responses and 16 qualitative interviews.

Welcome and introduction:

Mary-Ann Stephenson (Coventry Women’s Voices)

Presentation of research findings:

Jane Osmond (Coventry University) and Naomi Wilcox (Coventry Feminists)

 Workshop:

In this interactive workshop we will be exploring your responses to street harassment and discussing ways forward

 Final reflections:

Diane Whitfield, CRASAC
