Coventry Women’s Forum are currently seeking nominees for Coventry’s 2013 Women of Achievement Awards. The annual prize is awarded to celebrate the efforts of ordinary women whose contributions make an extraordinary difference. This may include:
- Women who are compassionate
- Women who do countless chores without expecting praise
- Women who serve the community
- Women who battled against personal problems
- Women who have made Coventry their home against all odds
- Women who do unpaid work caring for others (e.g. family, elderly people, disabled and people with ill-health)
- Women who have succeeded in their chosen field.

The awards night will be held on 8th March 2013 at The Britannia Hotel, Fairfax Street. Tickets cost £15 and food and entertainment is included. Also, to celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March 2013, Coventry Women’s forum will be holding an event called; ‘Bridges of Peace and Hope’ on Millennium Bridge between 12:00 – 13:00.
